They feel that more Muslim nations need to follow democratic principles of government where there is personal freedom, representative government, and freedom from oppression.The REVIVALISTS are those who believe that Islam is not the answer, and Jihad is not the way. They are Muslim Background Believers who follow the teaching of Jesus Christ. Joel Rosenberg is a Jew who is also a born-again Christian, a best-selling author of both fiction and non-fiction books, and a true expert on the Middle East. His fictional books have proven to be eerily prophetic of actual happenings. This non-fiction book, "Inside the Revolution," is must-reading. In it Joel starts by discussing the 1979 Islamic Revolution in Iran and the immediate results for the U.S., including the 444-day hostage crisis. The balance of the book provides a clear, detailed and expert analysis of the Muslim world. Joel divides that world into three groups: (1) The Radicals--"Islam is the Answer; Jihad is the Way" Of course we hear almost exclusively about this radical group, as they are the ones trying to kill us. (2) The Reformers--"Islam is the Answer; Jihad is Not the Way" King Mohammed VI of Morocco is firmly in this group. (3) The Revivalists--"Islam is Not the Answer; Jihad is Not the Way; Jesus is the Way" This is the surprising large group of Muslims who have accepted Jesus as their savior. Joel has interviewed key players in each group and identifies the good guys and the bad guys.
Joel has taken the time to get interviews with a lot of people from other countries and it's interesting to get different points of views in regards to the middle east. I wish more of our politicians would read this. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it's hard to keep everyone straight since so many of the names are different from what we're used to hearing and then they are similar besides. Of course, that's not the author's fault. His writing style is personable and you feel like he's writing this just for you and when you don't understand something, you could call him up and ask him about it. Even if you are not a Believer or interested in Revelations, reading how other religions view what's going on in the middle east might still be worth learning about.

Of the three factions reviewed in this book are the Jihadists, the Revolutionists, and the Christians.Joel C Rosemberg quotes the Koran, some Hadiths, and various people in high places providing the reader with a clear view of the factions at war with each other for the minds of the middle-easterner.This book came in a multiple book order and was in excellent condition. i first listened to the audio tapes of this book last year and it was great! so i went and purchased the kindle e-book version.. i love it! its very thought provoking novelthis should be required reading if you are to be a career diplomat any where near or in the middle eastits like a text book on islamic fundamentalism .

Many Muslims proclaim Islam is the answer, Jihad is the way. The book explains how and why Islam is determined to take over the world, Some Muslims say Islam is the answer but Jihd is not the way. Others say no to both viewpoints. A somewhat balanced but realistic book about modern Islam. Recommended reading to become informed about the threat from Islam.
